A quite reflective game in which we read Emily's thoughts as she tries to recover from depression and the support that her family tries to give her, as well as finding a passion or pleasure that can help people, such as taking care of plants, art or doing something active.
Without a doubt, something that confused me was that the protagonist had a feline appearance, but near the end I understood that it was just a representation since the people in the house loved cats very much... also I found all the discarded socks funny.
I remember that in my saddest moments studying abroad, what calmed me down was cooking and taking very long hot baths, although it wasn't until I returned home with my family that I began to recover my spirits.
This game was a really nice heartwarming experience and super cute even though it deals with some heavy stuff. All the little bits of dialogue are really nice and the whole thing is very aesthetically pleasing. Plus the art pieces are super cute and fluffy (? if that makes any sense) too so thanks a bunch for putting them on sale.
I did notice one glitch. If you aren't on the last piece of dialogue for the front door when you've helped take care of Emily then it seemingly won't display the going outside dialogue.
But that glitch didn't take away from the great experience. Great job, I loved it. :)
The game was short but wonderful to experience. The music fit so well and I did get a little bit of a heartattack when I opened the nighstand but I began to understand why it was locked in the first place and I'm glad the mother is doing her utmost best to be there for Emily and how Ash is always helping their big sister, I would have loved to see what the father contributed but I don't mind much about it. Such a nice game!
oh my gosh, you have no idea how much i appreciate your comment :') thank you so much for playing, and i'm so so happy that you enjoyed it! i'm considering doing a remaster for the game's one-year anniversary, so i'm definitely looking for ideas to help add content :)
Ohhh!! I'm excited for that! If you don't mind for the remaster version could we see how the family interact with not only each other but in their own small/big way to help Emily and being there for them? We already see how Ash helps Emily by picking up pieces and keeping her company and we do get tidbits about how the mother accompanies and is there for Emily but it be so cool to see them in action. Other than that, the simplistic nature of the game and its calm storytelling is fine as it is! Goodluck with the remaster version :D!
It's a really comforting and relaxing game! The music plus being surrounded by the rain while exploring and getting to know about the situation's really nice :) <3
Awesome job! I really liked the art and the tone of this game. There's something soothing about being surrounded by the rain no matter where in the house you walk to.
thank you so much!! as someone with depression, rainy days are really comforting to me, so i'm glad that i was able to portray that through the game! ^^ <3
